Wiring a race car seems like a simple job at first glance..but it never is. I am running the main battery power thru a switch located on the outside left body panel. This is a full disconnect without alternator protection. The battery positive then runs to a cutoff switch on the dash, which has alternator protection. The dash switch provides switching power to the miscellaneous circuits. The fuel pump, engine auxiliary fan and starter are all controlled via relays via ground switching. The fuel pump and auxiliary fan are further protected by inline fuses. All other circuits are fused via the fuse block. This is an on going project and hope to finish up in a few days. All connections are crimped, soldered and shrink wrapped.
